The EGOV Innovation Hub is a project aimed at promoting research, development of new solutions and training in the field of digital administration, nationally and internationally.

Located in the Couros Campus, in Guimarães, it is the result of a partnership between the Administrative Modernization Agency (AMA), the Operating Unit on Policy-Driven Electronic Governance of the United Nations University (UNU-EGOV) and the University of Minho (UM).

As far as research and development, the aim is to promote research and innovation, in fields such as electronic governance, open governance, open data, interoperability, dematerialisation and transparency.

In the field of internationalisation, the aim is to create work groups in the field of digital administration, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and innovative experiences, especially with Portuguese-speaking countries.
