The Public Administration has available a tool to enhance interoperability called iAP (interoperability in Public Administration), which comprises a set of 3 macro services:

 

• Integration Platform – allows the integration of information systems of participating entities through service-oriented architecture, addressing the technical and semantic components of interoperability;

 

• Public Administration Payment Platform – provides the Public Administration's  information systems with multiple payment methods for the different service channels, with integrated management, control and monitoring;

 

• Public Administration SMS Gateway – allows receiving and sending SMS between Public Administration and the citizen, supporting transaction services (RELEITORAL and SMSREBOQUE) and information services such as e-agenda notifications for citizens.
