The Citizen Spot is a point of assistance that combines services from different entities in a single helpdesk. At the Citizen Spot one has access to numerous services of central and local administration and private entities that provide services with a clear public interest.

There are hundreds of spots in Portugal, established in Citizen Shops, assistance points of local administration and post offices, in a network in permanent expansion.

In this new helpdesk one can, for example, deal with one's driving license, request a new password or real estate certificate with the tax authority, declare expenses to the Public Administration health subsystem, solve issues concerning employment and professional training, change one's address at the citizen card, request the european health insurance card or use e-invoice services, among many others.

This model allows serving the citizen better, quicker and closer, promoting digital literacy through support in the provision of digital public services.

Presently more than 600 Citizen Spots are operational, offering approximately 200 public services.
